Denim as recognised work clothes formerly has, at times, shown different expressions as fashion items to the people. Equally, a group of plumbing, usually unnoticed, shows completely different expressions under the name of “Nature Factory”. The complex plumbing, trailing by the wall in all directions will cover all over the space. It is like a tree grown over a long time. An atmosphere like a natural arbor is created in the space covered with artificial plumbing.

New attractive scenery is presented with plumbing and fashion-items to show such primarily functional things actually are more diverse and also have higher value.

In 1993, Tejo Remy designed a the iconic „Chest of Drawers“. He assembled different kinds of drawers into an accidental and dynamic composition. I took this idea apart and let the drawers fly free to find their own position in the corner of the room.
The Drawerment could also be a small anniversary of 15 years of „Chest of Drawers“ – A piece of art that let loose the „rigid“ era of product design at that time.
The composition has been designed for Demakersvan | dutch design house as a part of their renovated studio in Rotterdam.

The idea of Dizel&Sate was to capture transparency and light in a rather dark space with limited natural light. The design is futuristic with a color palette in subtle, natural colors juxtaposed with harsh fluorescent lighting. Glass surfaces, light panels and walls are covered by illustrations and typography that cap- ture fictional environments and people in motion.
The custom components that Dizel&Sate used, such as shelving and the reception desk, are made out of lacquered naked MDF. Oblique angles, inspired by the number seven, appear repeatedly throughout the space, for instance, the sloping sides of the reception desk. The lighting is clustered in the center of the ceiling, with tangled cords and a sense of randomness. Svartensgatan 7 also features vintage furniture by Finnish architect Eero Saarinen.
The new interior made by Dizel&Sate includes a retail area, a reception, seventeen work stations, two shampoo stations and a lounge, which all together take up a total area of 260 sq meters. With this latest project, Dizel&Sate have not only refined their own ap- proach to illustration and graphic design, but have also taken the graphic interior concept to a new level.

A new adventure with which you can customise your space, break free of cliché and bring your personality to light. This is the birth of a new collection of lamps that are as strong as metal, as soft as fabric, as slender as a luminous cage and as brilliant as chromed glass.
From casual to vintage, from rock to pop and from adventure to emotion. This is a collection of completely new lamps that speak a multitude of languages, tell different stories and express the Diesel style in ironic, irreverent and creative ways. A new adventure with which you can customise your space, break free of cliché and bring your personality to light. This is the birth of a new collection of lamps that are as strong as metal, as soft as fabric, as slender as a luminous cage and as brilliant as chromed glass.

Rock is the artistic interpretation of a split volcanic rock, that reveals clear, sparkling crystal inside. It is a hanging lamp with a captivating form, dark-coloured and flecked with golden speckles. There is a strong contrast between the dark, external surface that is rough to the touch and the casually sculpted and the shiny, iridescent interior with its paler tones. When illuminated, the asymmetrical interior surface creates a dramatic visual effect.

Stud is pure rock energy: Diesel’s DNA is transformed into a true furnishing element. The impressive metal nails on the base recall the punk metal motif of belts and accessories and the chrome-plated diffuser, reminiscent of mirrored sunglasses, creates a different lighting effect depending on how it is positioned.

Re-illuminated Retro
Cage takes its inspiration from old lanterns. The luminous body is protected by a decorative cage. The metal grille with its irregular structure and a hand-made flavour contrasts to the brilliant diffuser within. The lamp is available in three colours: white for a gentle atmosphere, black for a more conceptual mood and light green to recreate the retro spaces of the ’60s and ’70s. This lamp has a dual soul: when switched off, the full, strong colours reflect the outlines of the cage on its shiny surface; once turned on, the body fills with light and changes the colour of the structure. Cage is available in hanging, floor and table versions.

Glas is a modern reinterpretation of the classic work light used in warehouses and factories worldwide, which has become a furnishing style icon. The warm, suffused light has a retro feel. The use of innovative materials like glass combined with a silver-coloured surface that recalls metal, transforms this model into a unique decorative element that will strongly characterise any space. Glas is available in hanging and table versions.
A journey of discovery and emotion
Fork is an ironic lamp inspired by a campsite atmosphere. The canvas shade has typical tent stitching, with deliberately visible fabric seams. The base is in dark metal and the diffuser is available in rope and black. The lamp comes in floor and table versions.

Tri-p is a portable floor lamp that you can take with you on a journey, as it collapses into its own bag. Tri-p has an umbrella structure that makes it easy to close and carry, the casual shade, in elastic fabric, can be changed if needed.

The new collection was designed by the Diesel Creative Team headed by Creative Director Wilbert
Das.
